how I help
How I can help
Most of my work is helping people buy a home in Portland while they're still living somewhere else. I also help local buyers, coordinate a sale in your current city with your purchase here, and represent Portland sellers. Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute call.
01
Buying a home in Portland while you relocate
This is my specialty. I set up a shared home search so I learn what you save and skip, send you an early neighborhood shortlist, film private video tours of homes worth a closer look, and manage inspections, repairs and closing from here.
How relocation buying works with me02
How to coordinate a home sale and Portland purchase simultaneously
You usually have three paths: write a contingent offer in Portland, sell first and rent here while you shop, or buy first using a bridge loan or HELOC. Each has a real cost. I'll help you choose, and I can connect you with a vetted listing agent in the city you're leaving so both timelines line up.
Compare your optionsIf I refer you to an agent in another market, I may receive a referral fee from that agent's brokerage. I'll always tell you before you decide.
03
Buying an older Portland home
Many homes on the inner eastside are around 100 years old, and water shows up on almost every inspection report: around the foundation, in the sewer line, in the basement. I make sure you understand what those findings mean for your budget and your negotiation, and when to bring in a specialist.

Buying if you already live here
The same approach works if you're moving across town: honest neighborhood advice, careful inspection review, and steady communication.
05
Selling your Portland home
I price with care, help you prepare the house with targeted repairs and staging, and keep you informed at every deadline.

"We accepted an offer the first day our home was on the market, largely due to the amount of work put in behind the scenes... Kerrie's pricing strategy was unbeatable and the marketing plan was comprehensive as well."
